One of my hobbies is being a political junkie....the other is drinking. So anytime I can find an excuse to do both at once, it's a good time. With that, the fine people at State of the Union Drinking Game (http://www.stateoftheuniondrinkinggame.com/) have made up a handy drinking game to play while watching the President speak. Here are some of the rules:

"Drink if POTUS tells us to "tighten our belts"

x2 if this is followed by "shared sacrifice"

x3 if this is followed by "bridge the gap"

finish your drink if all three were in the same sentence

Drink when the Democratic side of Congress gives POTUS a standing ovation

x2 if both sides of Congress do

finish your drink if only the Republicans do

Drink if POTUS makes a folksy reference to sports

x2 if he mentions that he plays basketball"
