But a source who's supposedly in the know says, “Over the past two years they’ve spent less and less time together. They used to be affectionate with each other and laugh a lot. That never happens anymore. There were months where he wouldn’t even be at the house."

They actually revealed European dates last night. The as-yet-untitled album, their 13th, will be out in the spring. No word yet on a North American leg to the tour, but the press conference is still slated for today in Paris.

But he is apparently doing well and is up and about, recently taking in a Smashing Pumpkins show in Los Angeles.

Flyleafhave announced that they're parting ways with singer Lacey Sturm, effective immediately -- but they made sure to let everyone know that her departure is amicable.

The band issued a statement saying that Kristen May, the former lead singer of Vedera, will be taking Lacey's place for an upcoming tour in support of the just-released New Horizons album. They also allowed Lacey to explain her own decision to leave, which she did in a rather cryptic manner.

Lacey says, "I am very thankful to have recently become a mom to one of the greatest blessings of my life, my son Jack. You may have also heard that we recently lost our brilliant sound engineer, Rich Caldwell, in a devastating car accident... I understand that, for me, living life to the fullest in this season means to step down as the lead singer for Flyleaf. I pray that each one of you would pursue your highest calling with reckless abandon as well, understanding that sometimes the fullness of life comes in doing things that are only understood by you, God and the special people God has put in your life that truly love you for you…not for what you do, but for who you are."
