A South Carolina man on trial for assault punched his own lawyer in the face in a crowded courtroom after the judge sentenced him to 15-years in jail.
The 30-year-old was standing in front of the judge after pleading guilty to robbery and assault. Suddenly he wheeled around and took a swing at his lawyer.
The punch landed right on his mouth and drew blood.
Court officers seized the crook and took him out of the courtroom.
The judge added another 6 months onto the guy's sentence, which is the maximum sentence for contempt of court.
